Trained and certificated teacher, professional artist, instructor and choreographer of oriental dance
Gamila is addicted to oriental dance since 2003 and she devoted her life to this beautiful artform, creating a dance career, which only a few Hungarian dancers can be proud of. With the love of learning and dancing she became a multi-awarded solo dancer in Hungary. She owns titles like "Dancer of the year" and "MBD 2nd Princess" and she also won all the national and international competitions in professional category in the year of 2014. She also owns several international titles, like Yalla Yalla International Dance Queen and Ras el Sena International Queen, Oriental Fairytales 2016 Competition Professional 2nd runner up, Lets Dance Prague Professional 3rd winner, Ah ya Elbi International Oriental Competition with Live Band-Professional 3rd runner up, Ah Ya Elbi 2016 Professional 2nd winner and Oriental Fairytales Competition 2017 Professional 2nd winner.Till this day, she is the only performer with this number of awards in her country.
She is the creator and soloist of "Dahab Bellydance Company", which was the first dance company in Szolnok area, consisted of tribal and oriental dancers. She is also the creator and main organiser of "Bellydancer's meetings in Szolnok", " Bellydancer's meetings in Budapest" and "Summer Hafla". Her concept was create a community of oriental dancers, bringing the performers together to know each other better, and thanks to her, all these events were crowded of dancers from all over her country and were always full house sensation and also sold out.
Gamila al Ghazal became the main performer of the biggest middle-eastern restaurants and cafés in Hungary, like Lialina, Habibi Sisha Bar, Layali Al Khaleej, Cairo Cafe, Taj Mahal, Sahrazad, Sultana etc. She also has invitations from abroad to prestigious restaurants like Al Badawi and Al Fayrooz. She performed in many countries incuding Austria, Czech Republic, Serbia, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia etc... .
With her knowledge, she is representing healthy dance, importance of curriculum, great technique. She is usually invited to teach students all over Hungary, helping them growing in every way. Her projects in the year of 2017 was to record video series for technique development, produce opportunities to learn choreographies via youtube, making online classes available, and producing a specific drum solo piece composed by Yassir Jamal. So her new personal CD and videos are in progress while she is organising her events, performances and workshops.
In the year of 2020, Gamila created several online courses, where dancers can interactively learn oriental dance backround material, and also courses, which can help dancers improve their improvisation and choreography creating skills.
